It is important for both Bizdisc, as CD and DVD producers, and you, as our client, to be mindful of and adhere to copyright regulations.

When engaging Bizdisc to produce discs for you, you must ensure you either own the copyright, or have written consent to reproduce the copyrighted material from the owner of the copyright, for all material including:

Graphics to be printed onto the disc surface.
Graphics, text, information, music or data to be burnt onto the actual disc itself.

You do not need to register your material to be covered by copyright as it is automatic. However, we recommend keeping as much evidence as possible to ensure you can prove that you are the owner of the material should any issues arise.

You must sign an Agreement prior to commencement of your production in which all materials are outlined and you declare that Bizdisc reproducing the material does not constitute a breach of copyright. Should any claims arise from a copyright breach, Bizdisc shall be indemnified. In the case of any ambiguity, Bizdisc will not begin production of your order until the issue(s) are resolved.

Put simply... make sure you don't use other people's stuff and you'll be ok. The fines can be pretty hefty so we take this seriously and we recommend you don't use any company who has a 'relaxed' attitude to copyright.
